About the role
The University of Maryland Eastern Shore seeks a temporary Visiting Lecturer and Culinary Coordinator to join the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management for the 2026‑2027 academic year. Reporting to the Department Chair, the successful candidate will design and deliver student‑centered culinary instruction and oversee the coordination of the culinary program.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement forward‑thinking culinary pedagogy for undergraduate courses.
- Teach and assess culinary classes within the Hospitality and Tourism Management curriculum.
- Coordinate the culinary program, including curriculum planning and resource management.
- Contribute to the broader undergraduate Hospitality and Tourism Management program objectives.
Required profile
- Commitment to high‑quality, student‑focused culinary education.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Department Chair and faculty.
- Availability for the August 2026 to May 2027 term.
