Visa and Immigration Administrator

About the role

The Visa and Immigration Administrator supports Samsung employees by coordinating all documentation required for international travel, work assignments, and relocation. The role ensures compliance with immigration laws and internal policies while providing timely assistance to staff and managers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation for relocations, transfers, business trips, training, internships, seasonal and offshore employment.
• Maintain and update all immigration and visa records for Samsung employees to ensure validity and compliance.
• Prepare invitation letters, employment verification, and appointment letters in line with immigration regulations.
• Communicate with employees, managers, external customers, and law firms to facilitate visa processes.
• Assist with internal approvals, cost‑center allocation, salary confirmations, and I‑9 documentation.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members and participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to Data Privacy & Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of visa and immigration compliance experience within a global organization.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., ADA, EEO, FMLA) is preferred.
• Legal right to work and reside in the United States without sponsorship.
