Virtual High Impact Tutor (K-12)

About the role

Framework is hiring experienced, creative tutors to deliver engaging, high-quality virtual tutoring to elementary, middle and high school students across a wide range of subjects. Sessions are 15 to 60 minutes long, delivered in small groups or one-on-one using provided curriculum and interactive slide decks on a secure online platform. The position is remote and open to anyone living and working in the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver live, virtual tutoring in 1:1 and small group settings
• Create a safe, fun and interactive virtual classroom
• Engage students in interactive, goal-focused learning
• Adapt instruction to each student's needs
• Administer assessments as required
• Maintain professional communication with the Tutor Operations Team

Required profile

• At least 1 year of tutoring experience, virtual or in person
• At least 2 years (60 credit hours) of college coursework
• Legal U.S. resident, 18 years or older
• Reliable computer with mic and camera, stable internet and quiet workspace
• Ability to pass a federal background check (may include fingerprinting)
• Open availability; preference for daily availability 5:30-7:30 pm ET

Required skills

• Comfort using online teaching tools and platforms
• Preferred: associates degree or higher, prior online tutoring experience, experience with SpEd or ESL students, bilingual ability
