Video Production Writer

About the role

The Content Lab Team at Nintendo of America is looking for a talented writer to craft scripts for video productions, including game trailers, marketing spots, advertising pieces, and social media content. You will help translate game concepts and campaign ideas into compelling narratives that reflect Nintendo’s distinctive voice.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize, write, proofread, and edit scripts for internal and consumer‑facing video assets.
• Collaborate with Original Content and Game Assets Producers to ensure technical accuracy and brand consistency.
• Support creative writing for original content and localization scripts.
• Work with product, marketing, and advertising teams to align key messages and game details.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for product launches and marketing initiatives.
• Assist in tone development and direction of voice‑over recording sessions.
• Generate supporting copy for websites, social media, and other consumer portals.
• Review and provide feedback on content created by other team members.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional experience in marketing, creative writing, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of the video‑game industry and its audience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
