About the role

FlightStory is seeking a long‑form video editor to craft weekly episodes of "The Diary of a CEO". You will transform raw multi‑camera footage into engaging YouTube episodes that drive high retention and millions of views.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and deliver weekly podcast episodes using 9–13 camera angles and multiple audio tracks, ensuring precise pacing and strong emotional impact.
• Collaborate with senior creatives, incorporate feedback quickly, and contribute to pre‑production outlines.
• Research competitors and trends to keep the show ahead of long‑form YouTube standards.
• Maintain organized project files, scalable workflows, and share best practices across the editing team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years professional editing experience with a portfolio of long‑form multicam content (podcasts, interviews, documentaries).
• Deep instinct for pacing, rhythm, and story structure in long‑form video.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Growth mindset, proactive, and eager to experiment with new techniques.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, including large multicam timelines, syncing, and file management.
