Vice President, Statistics

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is seeking a Vice President to lead its Statistics function for the 12th District. This senior leader will shape strategy, oversee multiple reporting teams, and manage the Regulatory Reporting Review program, ensuring alignment with system‑wide objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the 12th District Statistics function and set priorities that support system‑wide goals.
• Collaborate with the Statistics + Reserves Officer team to develop and implement group strategy.
• Represent the District in system‑wide statistics workgroups, lead initiatives, and contribute thought leadership.
• Partner with supervision and technology groups to review regulatory reporting at District financial institutions.
• Maintain expertise on emerging trends in financial and structure reporting.
• Champion innovation in data analysis, presentation, and execution.
• Act as change manager to continuously improve processes and adapt to evolving objectives.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in statistics, financial reporting, or related fields.
• Proven ability to set strategic direction and oversee multiple teams.
• Strong collaboration skills with internal and external partners.
