Vice President, Product Marketing - Education

About the role

Lead the global positioning and go‑to‑market strategy for Elsevier Health’s education portfolio, shaping how AI‑driven learning solutions are adopted by institutions and individual learners.

Key responsibilities

• Own positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market strategy for the full Elsevier Health Education portfolio.
• Build deep market intelligence on the health education landscape and competitive positioning.
• Define distinct value propositions for institutional buyers and individual learners.
• Lead a team of product marketers, establishing launch processes and field‑enablement standards.
• Partner with Education BU leadership on roadmap input, launch readiness and commercial strategy.
• Develop sales enablement tools such as collateral, case studies and battle cards.
• Define and report on marketing‑influenced metrics including adoption, renewal, expansion and student engagement.

Required profile

• 12+ years of product marketing experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role with direct reports.
• Strong background in healthcare education, edtech or professional learning, with deep understanding of institutional buying and learner engagement.
• Proven ability to create differentiated positioning in content‑rich, competitive markets.
• Experience launching products in education technology or professional development markets.
• Familiarity with AI‑powered learning tools such as spaced repetition, adaptive testing and clinical simulation.
