Vice President, Operations

About the role

The Vice President, Operations will lead day‑to‑day activities across multiple warehouse shifts, ensuring that processes are efficient, safe, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. This senior role reports to the executive team and collaborates closely with sales, customer service, and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies that support overall business goals.
• Oversee daily warehouse, receiving, distribution, and night‑shift operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing operations team across three shifts.
• Manage the operations budget, analyze financial data, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Implement process improvements using data and analytics.
• Identify operational risks and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Align operations with customer expectations and work with sales and service teams to boost satisfaction.
• Leverage technology, including Roadnet, Delivery Now, and Samsara, to enhance performance.
• Oversee supply chain and logistics to ensure timely, cost‑effective product delivery.
• Provide regular performance reports to the executive team.

Required profile

• Current associate at breakthru (internal applicants only).
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Roadnet.
• Strong knowledge of Delivery Now.
• Strong knowledge of Samsara.
