Vice President of Retail Operations

About the role

Blue Furniture Co is seeking a Vice President of Retail Operations to lead the day‑to‑day performance of its retail network. Based in Conover, NC, this full‑time hybrid position will combine strategic oversight with hands‑on store leadership to drive growth and profitability across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee retail budgets, P&L statements, and financial performance.
• Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets and forecasting.
• Optimize inventory, merchandising, and visual standards.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and new store openings.
• Collaborate with finance, sales, and manufacturing teams on cross‑functional projects.
• Coach, develop, and manage store and regional managers.
• Analyze operational data to identify efficiency and profitability opportunities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in multi‑store retail operations and customer experience leadership.
• Proven track record in P&L management and meeting budget goals.
• Strategic planning and sales forecasting expertise.
• Background in luxury, design‑driven, or furniture retail is strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and build cross‑functional relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management or related field; advanced degree a plus.
