Vice President of Patient Recruitment

About the role

Lynd Clinical is building a nationwide clinical research network focused on rural and community settings. The Vice President of Patient Recruitment will lead the creation and management of a centralized recruitment function that serves all current and future sites, leveraging AI‑driven patient identification and workflow tools to accelerate enrollment and improve trial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and scale a centralized patient recruitment team and define a recruitment model for all Lynd sites.
• Own recruitment performance metrics such as patient identification, outreach, prescreening, qualification, enrollment conversion, cost per randomized patient, and cycle times.
• Collaborate with the VP of Clinical Operations to align centralized recruitment activities with site‑level study execution.
• Partner with the CEO, Interim CPTO, and Director of Engineering to shape recruitment and screening toolsets from requirements through rollout and iteration.
• Define service‑level agreements, workflows, and accountability structures between the central team and individual sites.
• Develop standardized playbooks, outreach strategies, and best‑practice enrollment processes for consistent deployment.
• Hire, develop, and expand the recruitment team in line with network growth.

Required profile

• 5+ years leading patient recruitment in a clinical research site, network, SMO, CRO, or similar environment.
• Deep knowledge of recruitment workflows, site operations, prescreening, and enrollment conversion drivers.
• Proven record of improving enrollment performance across multiple studies, investigators, sites, or geographies.
• Experience building and scaling centralized recruitment teams and models.
• Hands‑on operator comfortable working in early stages while building a team.
• Demonstrated ability to co‑design workflow tools with technical teams rather than merely managing vendors.
• Strong systems‑thinking capability to translate operational bottlenecks into scalable software‑assisted processes.
