Vice President of Operations, Multi-Site Physician Practices

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Vice President of Operations to lead and scale a growing multi‑site physician‑practice platform. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will partner with physicians and functional leaders to turn growth plans into consistent, measurable results across practices and markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day operating and financial performance across all practices and markets.
• Design and implement KPI reviews, SOPs, decision‑rights, meeting cadences, and escalation paths.
• Improve staffing, scheduling, patient access, revenue cycle, patient experience, and site‑level economics.
• Lead integrations of new practices, markets, systems, and service lines from planning through adoption.
• Hire, coach, and hold practice, market, regional, and functional leaders accountable.
• Collaborate with physicians, finance, HR, recruiting, IT, EMR, compliance, facilities, legal, and marketing to execute strategy.

Required profile

• Proven ownership of multi‑site outpatient physician‑practice or comparable ambulatory operations.
• Direct accountability for operating and financial KPIs with demonstrable improvement.
• Experience leading practice, market, service‑line, acquisition, or major‑system integrations.
• Ability to earn trust with physicians and executives while driving clear accountability.
• Background in MSO, PPM, PE‑backed healthcare services, specialty‑clinic networks, ASC, urgent care, dental, or similar platforms is strongly preferred.
