Vice President of Operations

About the role

The Vice President of Operations will lead and optimise all operational functions across The Pack Labs, driving efficiency, scalability and profitability while aligning with strategic business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end operations including manufacturing, packaging, supply chain, distribution and fulfillment.
• Manage full warehouse and production floor activities such as vape mixing, grinder and preroll operations, pick‑and‑pack and fulfillment.
• Scale production capabilities for pre‑rolls, vapes and infused products.
• Provide QA/QC oversight and enforce compliance with California hemp/cannabis regulations (METRC, DCC).
• Oversee inventory management of raw materials, work‑in‑process and finished goods.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve SOPs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a hemp or cannabis manufacturing organisation.
• At least 10 years of operations experience, with 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of building and implementing SOPs.
• Strong background in inventory management and raw‑material flow.
• Experience managing multi‑function teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on leader comfortable on the shop floor while thinking strategically.
• Knowledge of state cannabis/hemp manufacturing regulations.
• Lean manufacturing or continuous‑improvement experience.
