Vice President & General Manager, North Port Facility

About the role

The Vice President, General Manager – North Port leads all operational, financial, and strategic aspects of the Atlanta Braves' North Port Spring Training and year‑round facility, CoolToday Park. This senior leader ensures exceptional guest experiences, drives revenue growth, and maintains the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for all business, operational, and administrative functions of the North Port complex.
• Set and execute the strategic vision aligned with Atlanta Braves priorities.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, revenue growth, and expense management.
• Lead department heads across facility operations, stadium operations, field maintenance, corporate partnerships, ticket sales, food & beverage, retail, Braves Academy, and event operations.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and evaluate senior leaders, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Coordinate scheduling and utilization of fields, stadiums, and assets for baseball activities, community events, and third‑party programming.
• Build and maintain relationships with local government, community stakeholders, and MLB.
• Drive capital improvement projects and long‑range planning to enhance the facility.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in large‑scale facility or venue management.
• Strong financial acumen with a track record of budgeting and revenue growth.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially with government and community partners.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive operational excellence.
