Vice President, Finance Strategy & Operations

About the role

This executive leadership position reports to the CFO and is responsible for shaping the future of a global Finance organization within a high‑growth technology company. The Vice President, Finance Strategy & Operations will act as a strategic partner to the CFO, driving operational excellence and large‑scale transformation initiatives across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the CFO’s strategic operating partner, supporting finance strategy, operational planning, and transformation priorities.
• Build and lead the Finance Strategy & Operations function, establishing frameworks that improve execution, accountability, and organizational effectiveness.
• Develop and execute a multi‑year finance transformation roadmap aligned with growth objectives and public‑company requirements.
• Lead finance‑owned enterprise transformation initiatives, including revenue process optimization, business model evolution, and global expansion programs.
• Establish governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and success metrics to ensure measurable business impact.
• Redesign finance processes to improve scalability, efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across a distributed organization.
• Partner with technology teams to define finance system priorities, business requirements, and implementation strategies.
• Identify opportunities for AI, automation, and intelligent workflows to boost finance productivity and decision‑making.
• Collaborate with accounting and audit teams to maintain strong controls, compliance, and scalable operational practices.
