Vice President, Finance Planning & Analysis

About the role

The Vice President, Finance Planning & Analysis is a senior finance executive who leads Deltek’s global FP&A function. Reporting to the CFO, this leader partners with the CFO, CEO and the executive leadership team to turn complex financial data into actionable insights that drive growth, profitability and long‑term value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Own management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes.
• Provide strategic finance leadership across company priorities such as growth, profitability, transformation and value creation.
• Lead executive‑level discussions of financial results, forecasts, budgets and long‑range plans with leadership and investors.
• Manage investor reporting for management reporting, forecasts, budgets and strategic financial updates.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic planning, capital allocation and investment decisions.
• Build strong cross‑functional partnerships to drive business performance, operating discipline and accountability.
• Develop a team of strategic finance business partners integrated throughout the business.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing global FP&A organization.

Required profile

• Senior finance executive with extensive experience in global FP&A.
• Strategic partner to C‑suite leaders, capable of translating complexity into clear insights.
• Proven ability to lead executive‑level financial discussions and investor communications.
• Strong leadership skills to build and develop high‑performing finance teams.
