Vice President, Finance

About the role

The Vice President, Finance will be a key member of the leadership team of a fast‑growing, venture‑backed SaaS company. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will shape financial strategy, build scalable finance operations, and prepare the organization for future public‑market milestones such as an IPO or SPAC.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute long‑term financial and capital strategies to support rapid growth and liquidity events.
• Partner with the CEO and board on fundraising, investor relations, and capital‑markets initiatives.
• Lead IPO/SPAC readiness by establishing robust reporting, governance, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Manage the cap table, equity plans, and investor ownership records with audit‑ready precision.
• Build and scale finance, accounting, FP&A, and compliance teams and processes.
• Develop forecasting models, KPI dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for data‑driven decision‑making.
• Oversee audits, regulatory filings, and public reporting requirements.
• Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, legal advisors, and institutional investors.
• Provide strategic financial insights for M&A, partnerships, and long‑term planning.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the existing finance organization.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance executive experience scaling high‑growth technology companies.
• Track record of guiding organizations through IPO or SPAC preparation.
• Strong strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution ability.
• Excellent communication skills to influence C‑suite and board members.
