Vice President, Data Management Platforms (Product Development)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Vice President to lead the product strategy and execution for its enterprise data management platforms. This senior leader will shape the roadmap for metadata, catalog, lineage, marketplace, governance, and usage/observability capabilities, ensuring they deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the business product strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for Mastercard’s data management platform suite.
• Collaborate with Technology teams to translate strategy into scalable implementation plans, integrations, release priorities, and operational support models.
• Lead product direction for the data catalog and governance platform, expanding connectivity, publishing metadata, and integrating data products and marketplaces.
• Drive adoption of trusted metadata across the enterprise, enabling users, analytics, and AI initiatives to discover, understand, govern, and reuse data.
• Transition legacy cataloging capabilities to modern, enterprise‑wide solutions.

Required profile

• Proven enterprise product leadership experience, preferably in data management or related domains.
• Strong ability to partner with technology teams and translate business vision into technical execution.
• Experience serving internal data governance and data‑user communities as key customers.
• Track record of delivering measurable outcomes for large‑scale platform initiatives.
