Vice President, Controller – Global Alternative Asset Manager

About the role

This senior finance position sits on the finance team of a global alternative asset manager, overseeing accounting and financial oversight for its Private Credit business. The role reports to senior leadership and works in a hybrid schedule (Tuesday‑Thursday) from a Midtown office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial oversight for the Private Credit business, acting as the financial gatekeeper.
• Quarterback liquidity for deals, including cash forecasting and fund compliance.
• Oversee fund administration deliverables and manage three direct reports.
• Perform heavy‑duty data analysis and prepare investor reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Required profile

• Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably within public or public‑private credit environments.
• Experience working with credit clients in public markets.
• CPA certification is mandatory.
