Veterinary Referral Coordinator

About the role

Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers in Clearwater, Florida, is looking for a Veterinary Referral Coordinator. As the liaison between Fetch's team of doctors and its referral partners, the role combines guest service, a concierge-like approach and detailed organization to make the referral process seamless for veterinarians, guests and their pets.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for referring veterinarians and their teams, directing cases to the right services and answering questions
• Review medical records from referring teams to ensure they are complete, audit them and create and send clinical summaries to referring doctors
• Foster relationships with the veterinary community and partner with marketing on veterinary education events for referral partners
• Coordinate new guests: pre-appointment communication, personal greeting and onboarding at first visit, and follow-ups after visits or hospitalization

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, attention to detail and accuracy in records
• Team player with a customer-service mindset

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer systems and software applications
