VDC/BIM Coordinator

About the role

The VDC/BIM Coordinator will join E3M Solutions' engineering team to support both internal turn‑key projects and external design/build assignments. The role focuses on delivering sustainable, code‑compliant designs while ensuring seamless coordination across all disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality designs that meet codes and client needs while coordinating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and energy systems.
• Prepare BIM execution plans, maintain BIM documentation, and achieve spatial coordination across all trades with contractors and subcontractors.
• Review shop drawings, generate RFIs, create detailed shop drawings for fabrication and installation, and produce Trimble (or similar) field points.
• Occasionally visit job sites to verify existing conditions and monitor construction progress.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Science or Technology (preferred).
• Proven experience with BIM processes and a track record of technical excellence.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and energy codes and standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Bluebeam Revu.
