Vascular Surgeon – Full-time Clinical Position

About the role

Ochsner Health seeks a board‑certified or board‑eligible Vascular Surgeon to join a busy, clinically focused practice in Lafayette, Louisiana. The role involves a full spectrum of vascular disease management, offering both open and endovascular procedures within a collaborative, multi‑specialty environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of open and endovascular vascular procedures, including aorta/femoral/popliteal bypasses, carotid endarterectomy, amputations, wound debridement, and venous interventions.
• Provide clinic‑based patient care, participate in a weekly call rotation, and work closely with general surgery, cardiovascular surgery, interventional neurology, and interventional nephrology teams.

Required profile

• Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery.
• Licensed MD/DO with active practice privileges and a commitment to maintaining a clinical practice.

Required skills

• Open vascular surgery techniques.
• Endovascular intervention proficiency.
• Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
