Van/Bus Driver – On‑Demand Transportation

About the role

Rural Community Transportation seeks a reliable Van/Bus Driver to provide safe, on‑schedule transportation for passengers in a rural setting. You will be the front‑line link between the community and essential services, ensuring each ride is comfortable and punctual.

Key responsibilities

• Operate agency vans and buses safely, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide courteous, respectful customer service and maintain passenger confidentiality.
• Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and wheelchair lift usage as trained.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, wash, refuel, and secure vehicles.
• Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, and accidents promptly.
• Complete required paperwork, including inspection reports, mileage logs, and manifests.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
