Valuation Financial Analytics & Derivatives Intern – Summer 2027

About the role

Join PwC’s Advisory practice as a Deals Valuation Intern and support clients in assessing the value of assets, businesses, and financial instruments. This summer‑long position offers exposure to valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and the use of data‑analysis tools within a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist valuation teams with asset and business valuations for mergers and acquisitions.
• Participate in financial analysis and modeling to determine the worth of financial instruments and enterprises.
• Help prepare valuation reports and client presentations.
• Research market data and industry trends to support valuation assumptions.
• Collaborate on balance‑sheet and financial‑statement analysis.
• Utilize Alteryx for data analysis and process automation in valuation projects.
• Observe and learn from senior professionals to develop valuation expertise.
• Contribute to strategic advice for clients involved in business transactions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s degree (typically in the 3rd or 4th year of study).
• Preferred fields of study: Industrial & System Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Mathematics & Statistics, Operations Research, or related disciplines.
• Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3 or higher (major GPA also 3.3 or higher).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Alteryx for data manipulation and automation.
