UX Researcher

About the role

Alcon is looking for a versatile UX Researcher to join its Digital function and help shape intuitive, data‑informed digital health products. You will work on end‑to‑end research projects, turning user behavior and analytics into actionable insights that guide product decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute UX research across the product lifecycle, from discovery to validation.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative methods such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, and analytics review.
• Analyze user behavior and product performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Translate findings into clear, structured recommendations for product, design, and engineering teams.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to inform prioritisation and product decisions.
• Improve research workflows, templates, and best practices within the UX practice.
• Explore AI tools or emerging technologies to increase research efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in UX research, product research, or a related field.
• Strong generalist skill set across qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with a focus on clarity and structure.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and cross‑functional product teams.
