About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform utilization review during weekend shifts. This position supports the hospital’s operations by evaluating patient care plans and ensuring appropriate resource use.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct utilization reviews of patient cases during weekend hours.
- Assess medical records to verify appropriate level of care and services.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to recommend necessary adjustments.
- Document findings and communicate decisions in accordance with hospital policies.
Required profile
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Availability to work weekend shifts.
