Utility Porter – Residential Services

About the role

The Utility Porter joins the Residential Services Department at Summit Club, a Discovery Land Company location outside Las Vegas, NV. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and staff by caring for club facilities, restrooms, and common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, foyer spaces, and assigned furniture.
• Polish, restore, seal, and finish all types of flooring, including marble and granite.
• Extract and spot carpets, and perform high and low dusting of vents and decorations.
• Operate a variety of cleaning machines such as carpet extractors, ride‑on and walk‑behind scrubbers, burnishers, floor machines, lifts, wet/dry vacuums, and spotting machines.
• Move equipment and heavy furniture using hand trucks and flat‑bed carts, following proper techniques.
• Handle chemicals safely, conduct bio‑hazard clean‑up, and dispose of waste correctly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Prior experience in hospitality or service environments is strongly preferred.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and stay calm during busy periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts longer than eight hours.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, and move objects up to 75 lb occasionally.
