About the role

Amrize, a leading supplier of construction building materials, is seeking a Utility Operator for its Recycling division in Clinton, MD. The role involves operating heavy and utility equipment to keep plant operations safe, efficient, and continuous.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment and utility machinery to support daily recycling operations.
• Ensure continuous material processing to meet production targets.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report mechanical or safety issues.
• Assist with preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Handle, sort, and transport recyclable materials accurately.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial or recycling setting.
• Strong commitment to safety and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends or overtime.
