US Legal Editor – AI Content Updating

About the role

We are seeking a US Legal Editor to lead AI‑enabled content updating for LexisNexis Legal & Professional. In this position you will partner with expert authors, use advanced AI editorial tools, and ensure that US legal analysis stays accurate, current, and valuable for our global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and manage relationships with external legal authors and subject‑matter experts.
• Set clear expectations for scope, style, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Track legislative, regulatory, and case‑law developments to keep content up‑to‑date.
• Leverage AI‑enabled editorial tools, including Lexis+ Protégé, to commission, research, draft, review, and update content at scale.
• Apply editorial judgment to review and refine AI‑generated outputs before publication.
• Contribute insights to improve AI tools and promote AI‑supported workflows among contributors.

Required profile

• Strong legal insight into US law and the ability to translate complex legal developments into clear commentary.
• Detail‑oriented, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience working with external authors or contributors in a publishing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI‑enabled editorial platforms (e.g., Lexis+ Protégé).
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted content creation and review processes.
