U.S. Army OB/GYN Nurse – Active Duty or Reserve

About the role

The U.S. Army is seeking registered nurses to join its Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) team. Whether on active duty or in the Army Reserve, you will provide comprehensive care to female service members, their families, and newborns across a range of clinical settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN care, including ante‑partum, post‑partum, labor and delivery, and mother‑baby unit services.
• Provide peri‑operative nursing support for obstetric surgeries and related procedures.
• Assist in newborn care within nurseries and mother‑baby units.
• Participate in OB/GYN clinics, diagnostic services, and health education initiatives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an ACEN, CCNE, or NLN‑accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• U.S. citizenship for active‑duty service; permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve.
• Experience practicing as an RN in the United States or its territories.
