Urgent Care Physician – Board Certified

About the role

We are seeking a board‑certified physician to join our Urgent Care team, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages in a high‑volume outpatient environment. The role involves both in‑person and virtual examinations, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a focus on improving access and quality of care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform age‑appropriate history taking, virtual examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Document patient encounters accurately and promptly.
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests as needed.
• Provide acute care, chronic disease management, and mental health support for pediatric and adult patients.
• Consult or refer to specialists when appropriate.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of medical research and clinical guidelines.
• Offer administrative support, including laboratory result review and cross‑coverage.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• Completion of a 3‑year Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine residency.
• Minimum 3 years post‑residency experience in a fast‑paced Urgent Care or Primary Care setting.
• Active ABMS or AOA board certification in Family Medicine or dual board certification in Internal Medicine + Pediatrics.
• Unrestricted state medical license (must reside in an IMLC state).
• Experience caring for patients from newborn to adult.
• Ability to function within an integrated medical practice.
• No current exclusions or sanctions by Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal health programs.
