About the role
The University Laboratory School seeks a dedicated Instructor/Teaching Associate 3 to lead kindergarten instruction. This role combines classroom teaching with research‑based innovation, supporting both student achievement and the school’s mission as a model demonstration environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, teach, and manage daily kindergarten classes, aligning lessons with the school curriculum and state standards.
- Create and maintain a safe, respectful classroom atmosphere that reflects the school’s mission and policies.
- Engage in professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and faculty meetings, and present findings to peers.
- Participate in school events and enforce administrative expectations and policies.
- Complete mandatory training, maintain required certifications, and assist with handbook and policy reviews.
