Underwriting Coordinator

About the role

The Underwriting Coordinator supports the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Public Radio by managing corporate and nonprofit fundraising initiatives. Reporting to the General Manager, the role works closely with the station’s leadership team to secure underwriting support and strengthen community partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the radio station and business or organizational contributors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective underwriting partners.
• Coordinate recognition and acknowledgment efforts for contributors.
• Assist in planning and executing fundraising events and campaigns.
• Track underwriting agreements, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree with at least one year of experience in sales, nonprofit development, or a revenue‑generating role.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and three or more years of experience in development, marketing, public relations, or volunteer management.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with fundraising or underwriting processes.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements for corporate sponsorships.
