UI/UX Designer for Poker Games

About the role

Zynga is seeking a UI/UX Designer to join the Zynga Poker team in Austin. You will be responsible for creating high‑quality, visually compelling user interfaces and HUD elements that deliver seamless gameplay for millions of players worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design high‑fidelity UI layouts, menus, icon systems, HUD components, and screen flows that match Zynga Poker’s aesthetic.
• Collaborate with the art team to define and maintain a unified visual language and thematic style.
• Create micro‑interactions, motion graphics, and functional animations to add polish and feedback.
• Work with technical artists and engineers to integrate UI assets, prefabs, and design systems into the game engine.
• Produce clean, optimized, production‑ready UI assets for live‑ops features.
• Develop user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and clickable prototypes for new features.
• Participate in usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and competitor research to inform design decisions.
• Partner with product managers and game designers to define feature requirements and ensure clarity, trust, and engagement for players.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing UI/UX for games or interactive entertainment.
• Strong visual design sensibility and ability to create cohesive UI systems.
• Excellent collaboration skills with art, engineering, and product teams.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering polished, player‑centric experiences.
