Trust Officer (Part‑time)

About the role

The Trust Officer will support the Breath of Life media ministry by promoting its vision and mission to prospective donors. This part‑time position focuses on communicating gift‑planning and trust services, helping donors align their charitable giving with the ministry’s evangelistic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the ministry at events, meetings, and donor visits, explaining trust and planned‑giving options.
• Collaborate with the Trust Department Director and the Planned Giving & Trust Services team to develop donor strategies.
• Travel to meet donors in their homes or preferred locations to build and maintain relationships.
• Generate confidence in the ministry that translates into a steady increase in donations.
• Ensure compliance with North American Division certification and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• A mature Christian who fully embraces the 28 Fundamental Beliefs of the Seventh‑day Adventist Church.
• Strong spiritual discernment to guide donors in estate stewardship.
• Personable, warm, and professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing education in planned‑giving concepts and instruments.
• Goal‑oriented, able to meet deadlines and performance expectations.
