Travel Superintendent

About the role

The Travel Superintendent leads electrical crews on large‑scale, greenfield industrial construction projects across Texas. This full‑time, direct‑hire position requires full‑time travel to project sites and coordination with multiple trades to keep schedules on track.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical crews on greenfield industrial projects.
• Oversee day‑to‑day field operations, including scheduling, manpower coordination, and subcontractor oversight.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards on site.
• Communicate progress, issues, and resource needs to project management.
• Mentor journeymen and apprentices.
• Coordinate with other trades and general contractors to meet project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, NEC standards, and client requirements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
• 3‑5 years in a superintendent or lead role on large‑scale industrial or greenfield projects.
• Willingness to travel full‑time across Texas.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred OSHA 30 certification and established industry relationships.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
