About the role

Magnet Medical is looking for a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Medical‑Surgical care to join a fast‑paced unit in Palestine, Texas. The assignment starts on 15 June 2026 for a 13‑week period, working 12‑hour night shifts (36 hours per week) and offering a competitive weekly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on physician orders.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions while ensuring safety and protocol compliance.
• Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and clinical progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including mobility, hygiene, and nutrition.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care and educate patients on procedures, medications, and recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the broader healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment.

Required profile

• Current RN license with eligibility to practice in Texas.
• Experience in Medical‑Surgical nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour night shifts for the duration of the assignment.
• Ability to start on 15 June 2026 and commit to a 13‑week travel contract.
