Travel Nurse RN – Med Surg – $1,620 per week

About the role

Cross Country Nurses is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Medical‑Surgical (Med Surg) to join a travel assignment in Palestine, Texas. The position starts on 06/15/2026, runs for 13 weeks, and consists of night shifts (12 hours each) for a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical‑Surgical floor following facility protocols.
• Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments, interventions, and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to safety and infection‑control standards.

Required profile

• Valid RN license (must be presented on the first day of employment).
• No specific experience requirements; new graduates are welcome.
• Willingness to work night shifts and relocate temporarily to Palestine, TX.
