About the role
The Trauma Advanced Practice Provider (APP) joins a collaborative trauma team at Kaweah Health Medical Center, delivering inpatient, consultative, and peri‑operative care for high‑acuity trauma and acute care surgery patients.
Key responsibilities
- Provide daytime coverage for trauma and acute care surgery services on 10‑hour shifts.
- Work alongside another APP to ensure continuous coverage.
- Assist in surgical ward and intensive care unit management.
- Conduct emergency department consults, oversee postoperative care, and coordinate discharge planning.
Required profile
- Licensed PA‑C, ACNP, or NP (surgical experience preferred).
- Strong interest in teaching and academic medicine.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

What we offer
- Annual compensation of $150,000.
