Transportation Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Transportation Operations Coordinator ensures smooth logistical activities by coordinating carriers, service providers and internal teams, focusing on performance and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and provide excellent service while understanding their needs and goals.
• Identify and resolve issues that may impact customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate the flow of goods with customers, 3PLs, carriers and warehouses to meet agreed KPIs/OKRs such as OTIF.
• Arrange transportation for shipments, balancing cost, transit time and mode, and schedule pickups and deliveries with freight forwarders, carriers and haulage companies.
• Drive carrier and service‑provider performance for hub‑and‑spoke locations.
• Manage inbound and outbound transportation, including warehouse and trailer capacity.
• Support data collection, analysis and provide analytics to improve transportation efficiency.
• Collaborate with customers, warehouses, carriers, service providers and onsite teams to resolve any issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for transportation matters.

Required profile

• Willingness to work the night shift (Monday‑Friday, 5 p.m. – 2 a.m.).
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Proven experience in logistics or transportation coordination.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive improvements.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
