Transportation Manager

About the role
The Transportation Manager will oversee the Transportation Services department at Texas A&M University, directing bus and fleet management, maintenance, routing, and scheduling of special services to ensure reliable transportation for the campus community.
Key responsibilities
- Provide and maintain a high level of customer service across all transportation functions.
- Manage daily operations, supervise assigned staff, and prepare driver schedules.
- Oversee performance and responsibilities of the transportation team to ensure success.
- Assist clients in scheduling events and coordinate travel needs.
- Communicate with guests in advance of events or travel to determine specific requirements.
- Handle administrative requirements in a timely manner.
Required profile
- Demonstrated ability to manage transportation or fleet operations.
- Experience supervising staff and coordinating schedules.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and guests.
