Transportation Lead

About the role

The Transportation Lead will oversee daily transportation operations at Homewood Mountain & Lake Club, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely movement of guests and employees. This position reports to the Parking & Transportation Department and plays a key role in delivering the high‑service standards expected by Discovery Land Company.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and operators, coordinating daily activities and dispatch.
• Develop and manage transportation schedules, routes, and assignments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular vehicle and equipment inspections, addressing any deficiencies.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation, driver logs, maintenance, inspections, and incidents.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members to promote safe and effective performance.
• Support other departments with transportation‑related needs and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record meeting insurance standards.
• Prior supervisory experience in transportation, hospitality, or a ski‑resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of transportation safety practices and operational procedures.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and adapt to fast‑paced projects.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift items up to 50 lb.
