Transportation Driver

About the role

Lone Mountain Ranch is seeking dependable Transportation Drivers to safely move guests, employees, luggage, and supplies around the Ranch and the surrounding Big Sky area. Drivers provide a welcoming, comfortable experience while representing the Ranch’s hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Transport guests, staff, and items to on‑site and off‑site destinations while ensuring safety.
• Assist guests with luggage and answer questions about Ranch amenities and local attractions.
• Adjust driving techniques for changing road, traffic, and weather conditions, including snow and ice.
• Perform vehicle inspections, keep vehicles clean, fueled, stocked, and ready for guest use.
• Maintain accurate trip, mileage, and transportation records.
• Communicate proactively about schedules, delays, vehicle issues, and guest needs.
• Support other departments and Ranch operations as needed.

Required profile

• Dependable and safety‑conscious with a strong sense of hospitality.
• Comfortable spending long periods behind the wheel and interacting with guests.
• Ability to stay calm and make responsible decisions in winter driving conditions.
• Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes, weather, and varying transportation demands.

Required skills

• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Experience driving safely in snow, ice, and other adverse weather.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and inspection knowledge.
