Transportation Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support a growing transport organization in Arkansas. This contract position offers the chance to manage shipments from pickup to delivery while building a long‑term career in logistics and account support.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee freight movements from initial pickup scheduling through final delivery, ensuring on‑time progress.
• Monitor shipment activity, providing timely updates to customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients and transportation partners.
• Prepare transportation quotes, assist with rate planning, and coordinate load details based on customer needs.
• Identify and resolve service disruptions quickly, communicating solutions to all parties.
• Collaborate with sales and operations colleagues to deliver a smooth customer experience.
• Maintain accurate shipment files, operational records, and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational growth through cross‑department collaboration.

Required profile

• Prior experience in logistics, transportation, customer service, or a related operations role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Solid organizational skills and sound judgment for day‑to‑day transportation issues.
• Customer‑focused mindset with attention to detail and service quality.
