About the role
The Transplant Data Coordinator (RN) supports the transplant program by ensuring accurate collection, entry, and management of clinical data. This position works closely with transplant teams to maintain high‑quality data for reporting, research, and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, verify, and enter transplant‑related patient data into the electronic medical record and transplant registry.
- Perform data quality checks and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with clinical staff.
- Generate routine and ad‑hoc reports for internal stakeholders and external agencies.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and institutional data reporting requirements.
- Assist with audits and support continuous improvement initiatives within the transplant program.
Required profile
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience working in a transplant or related clinical setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential patient information.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with multidisciplinary teams.
