Transmission Line Project Manager

About the role

Wilson Construction Company is seeking an experienced Transmission Line Project Manager to join its Canby, OR office. The role involves leading large‑scale electrical utility transmission projects, producing required documentation, and ensuring technical and financial objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Generate daily project documents for customer submittal.
• Manage timesheets, completion trackers, and job‑cost reports.
• Lead project meetings and update schedules for client review.
• Prepare invoices, change‑order requests, and cash‑flow reports.
• Coordinate inter‑departmental communication and liaise with project owners.
• Represent the company professionally on‑site throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of office, field, or technical experience in electrical utility construction.
• At least five years managing electrical utility projects.
• Background in project scheduling and work‑plan development.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, construction management, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel as needed; residence within reasonable distance of Canby or willingness to relocate.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with Primavera scheduling software.
