Translation/Localization Coordinator

About the role

The Translation/Localization Coordinator manages the translation and localization of product labeling, instructions for use, packaging, software UI strings, and related regulatory documentation. This role ensures that all translated materials are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time to support product launches and sustaining updates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage numerous simultaneous translation and localization projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact between translation/validation vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Submit, manage, and track translation requests, quotes, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and scope, flagging risks or delays proactively.
• Provide feedback to vendors and internal teams to foster continuous improvement.
• Review translated content for completeness, formatting, and quality standards.
• Maintain documentation and metrics on localization and vendor performance.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to troubleshoot issues and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• No prior experience required with a Bachelor’s degree, or a minimum of 3 years experience with an Associate’s degree in translations, localization, procurement, or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities, and ability to build effective relationships with internal and external partners.
• Must be able to perform required physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements, with or without accommodation.

What we offer

• Salary range $65,000 – $103,000 per year.
