About the role
As a Transfer Pricing Intern within PwC’s Japanese Business Network, you will support the Tax Services team in navigating global tax complexities. The summer 2027 placement offers hands‑on exposure to transfer pricing regulations, intercompany pricing strategies, and cross‑cultural collaboration with Japanese clients.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teams in analyzing and optimizing global tax strategies.
- Support the preparation and filing of consolidated tax returns for multinational corporations.
- Research and interpret transfer pricing regulations to ensure compliance.
- Contribute to the development of intercompany pricing models aligned with value creation.
- Collaborate with the Japanese Business Network to deepen cultural and market insights.
- Gather and analyse data from various sources to identify patterns and support decision‑making.
- Observe and learn from senior professionals in international taxation.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
- Business‑level fluency in both Japanese and English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
