Training Specialist

About the role

McGee Air Services is seeking a Training Specialist to lead and enhance training programs at its airport ground‑handling stations across North America. You will ensure team members meet all operational requirements, maintain accurate training records, and continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate classroom and on‑the‑job training sessions for station staff.
• Mentor and coach employees, explaining procedures and policies to raise awareness.
• Conduct observations and audits to verify training effectiveness and compliance.
• Maintain training record retention in line with McGee and customer standards.
• Prepare monthly Greenlight reports and status updates.
• Identify gaps, develop remedial or refresher training, and create tools to improve performance.
• Model McGee’s values by demonstrating correct safety and operational practices.
• Support safety, compliance, and other station initiatives as assigned.
• Organize training locations, materials, and pre‑work to ensure an optimal learning environment.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of airline or station operations experience.
• Strong, honest communication skills with the ability to set clear expectations and hold others accountable.
• Proven ability to give constructive feedback and recognize positive performance.
• Commitment to promoting a culture of safety.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
