Training and Development Specialist

About the role

Credence is looking for an experienced Training and Development Specialist to design, develop, and launch a comprehensive training program for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) STORES 2.0 application built on the ServiceNow platform. The role will be based in Washington, DC and will support users worldwide as the system is rolled out.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end training strategies, materials, and schedules aligned with system releases and mission timelines.
• Create instructor‑led courses, e‑learning modules, job aids, quick reference guides, and simulation‑based scenarios that reflect DLA workflows and DoD logistics policies.
• Coordinate global role‑based training rollouts, including Train‑the‑Trainer sessions and in‑person delivery at international DLA locations.
• Maintain a comprehensive training program plan, track onboarding progress, certification status, and produce summary reports for leadership.
• Continuously review and update training content to ensure accuracy with system updates and gather feedback for improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering training programs for complex, mission‑critical applications.
• Familiarity with federal or defense logistics environments and the ability to work with DLA administrators, military services, and commercial vendors.
• Strong project‑management skills to synchronize training timelines with system deployments and change‑management activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating clear instructional materials and delivering training to diverse audiences.
