Trainer – Security Services

About the role

Join Securitas as a Trainer and help develop the skills of security personnel across our Downers Grove and Joliet offices. You will deliver new‑employee orientation, licensing instruction, and health‑and‑safety training while ensuring compliance with client contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct new‑employee orientation, mandatory licensing, and on‑the‑job training.
• Document training activities for licensing and contractual purposes.
• Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and design appropriate programs.
• Develop and maintain training schedules, manuals, multimedia aids, and evaluation materials.
• Maintain accurate training records and generate performance reports.
• Perform related administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Proficient computer and technology skills.
• Reliable communication methods and transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Prior training or HR experience in an office setting preferred.
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of individuals.
• Willingness to complete pre‑employment screening, including drug test and background check.
